Kay was an excellent guide. It was clear that she loves Charleston and it’s history. She was very informative and had great tips on what to do and see in Charleston. She made the tour very enjoyable despite the rain.

Our guide, Mr. Burroughs, was a long-time resident of Charleston and had a great deal of local knowledge to share. His perspective was quite informative, and entertaining. I felt like the tour was 100% worth the money and time invested.

Great walking tour seeing areas of historic Charleston that we would have otherwise missed. Capt. Jim is an excellent guide sharing much info about the rich history of Colonial Charleston, architecture and insight into Charleston’s role in the American revolution, civil war and naturally occurring events. This is one tour that is a must while visiting the Holy City.

Capt. Jim was very knowledgeable and great with details! He even noticed that several of us didn’t have water on a hot day, and fixed that problem! Loved the flowers, gateways and secret alleys. Great tour!

Thank you for your feedback. Our Alleys & Hidden Passages" Tour takes you through some of the lesser known alleyways in the historic district and includes some of the popular points of interest as well as the fascinating history of Charleston. We think maybe our "Most Beautiful Walk" would have been of more interest to you as this explores the residential parts of the Historic District in more detail. We hope you will consider joining us on another tour the next time you are in town.

So I would love to say it was great, but it was not. Though the guide was knowledgeable, he did not explain a lot. He spoke about his family and his family history. We actually walked down more alleys on our own.
