This was a wonderful tour which, although there were about 16 of us, was intimate and very well led by our tour guide Zach. Zach is a history major who specialized in the history of the Southern US, which I believe added a lot to our tour. We booked a Sunday morning 10 a.m. tour which worked out well because the city is relatively quiet, except for people coming and going to church in their Sunday finest! Wonderful! And who knew there was such a strong connection between Barbados and South Carolina? Highly recommended.

Our guide, Sarah, was very knowledgeable and kept us wanting to hear more. We were lucky to be in Charleston in late April and the weather was perfect for a walking tour. We will make a trip back to see more.

We lived our walking tour, learned so much history. Loved seeing all the best mansions in the Battery, that is the area where all the bey mansions are. There were also small side streets that were interesting, also with beautiful mansions. We also walked by the waterfront, parks, historical buildings etc. I would Reccommend this tour. There is a parking garage right by where we met which made it convenient.
