Beautiful grounds. Not what I expected. Needs more interactive programs. Not worth the price. Won’t go

Not the best for the amount of money spent

Was very disappointed in what we were able to see at the tour. The house was not a true antebellum home and was very limited in what could be seen. It was mainly just a short walk around the grounds . Not what I expected

Rain had been forecast for 48 hours. Maintenance had not provided seating in dock shelter for Gullah presentation. Maintenance personnel (black Jeep) arrives at 11:15 a.m. (presentation beginning time) and acted like it was the presenters issue that there wasn’t available seating. Then comes back later to ask her to start over because Plantation personnel hadn’t made plans to direct guests to the dock shelter to get out of rain. Presenter did a fantastic job illustrating her culture and handling the black Jeep personnel’s obnoxious demeanor. Very poor planning on maintenance department. I’m sure that it has rained before at the Boone Plantation that arrangements wouldn’t have been planned. The visit was WELL worth the visit. Thanks.

The slave quarters were interesting and the stories that were shared Grateful for the preservation of history so we can learn from it. Loved the farm and especially the entrance filled with old oak trees. It was an amazing site

It was just ok. Unable to view the whole plantation because there was a downpour of rain. Just a little disappointing.
