This was a self guided tour. It was an easy walk from area to area. The staff was very polite, professional and friendly. Would definitely recommend. It's a working plantation, they should consider selling produce from the farm at the cafe.

The grounds were amazing. Jennifaye was an amazing speaker talking about the history of slavery. As far as the house tour, you are limited to a small area and in those, there is not much to see. The slave quarters, which are original, give a great feel to how things were in the past. If you want a true indoor plantation tour, this would not be the one. If you are just interested in gardens and grounds, it is a beautiful site to see.

Excellent option for a nice couple of hours of history, beautiful gardens, and super knowledgeable & friendly staff. Breathtaking oak alley. Limited mansion tour but the grounds are wonderfully maintained.

Great place to visit. I learned a lot. It started raining about half way through the tour. I was given the option to get a second day pass if I wanted to. I decided to stick it out. I went into the butterfly cafe’ and had some lunch. The rain only lasted for about 45 mins. Afterwards, I continued with the tour. I do recommend closed toe shoes unless you like sand in your shoes ha.
