More training for the transportation company
Tracey
, Mar 2020
The actual volcano and mud bath was fun and we had a great time experiencing the culture. The way they set up the line for each individual to get into the mud bath can use some work. However the transportation company and our communication with them was very poor. When we booked the tour we asked for an English speaking tour guide. They were over one hour late to pick us up and still had to pick up others so we didnt get to the Volcano until 3 hours after our scheduled time. After the volcano experience we were taken to the beach which was not included in our tour package. When we got there the tour guide rep explained we didnt pay for lunch so we would need to sit there for another 2 hours until everyone else was ready to leave. We asked her to call us a taxi so we can leave because there was clearly some confusion. The rep called the taxi and we ended up spending more money to get to our hotel rather than the transportation company paying for their mishap. We were very unhappy with their service and how they dealt with the whole thing
