our tour guy Juan Pablo was very informative they arrived on time for the pick up. On the bus they explained everything in detail to us, we were amazed how everything was so organized, easy to display around everything has numbers so you cant get lost. The buffet was amazing go to Laguna Buffet you will enjoy it believe me. We took the bus way back earlier and we have no problems getting back into our hotel. Me and my husband had a great experience, will come back with family and friends.
This tour company is very well organized. Everyone was brought to the same place and then separated into tours from there so everyone on our bus was going to Xcaret. Once there, our guide was so helpful to get everyone organized. There is much to see and do once at Xcaret and the night show was fantastic. I would pay the extra money to get the plus adventure so you can have a locker. This is a full day tour, we did not get back to our hotel until 11:00 pm.
Xcaret, long tour as it was 16 hours from start to finish. Theme park with cultural and historic views. Recreates historic monuments and lifestyle. Best part was river swims as cool, refreshing . Spectacular show was great but late as it ran from 7 to 9 pm, after big day this was tiring.
Thank you for sharing your experience with us. It is good to know you enjoyed our park and especially the Show at night.
We understand is a long tour, but we think it is worth it. You find 40 different attractions at Xcaret, where you are able to have contact with nature and water activities.
Hope you visit us again in the future.
guides suggested tourists start the water activities first. this would be the river, snorkeling and beach rides. what the tourists guides didn't realize is the female tourists would be showing their skimpy thongs and cute bikini , sexy bodies throughout the rest of the day. The naked women bodies were very distasteful to Mexican culture.
Very good attraction but be aware of the extra activities

The park was amazing but it'll be important for everyone to know that most attractions have an extra (and very expensive cost). The park itself was amazing but I'm giving only 3 stars because the guide didn't give some important details. For instance, he told us we couldn't buy tickets other than at the entrance, that we'd need aquatic shoes, etc, and none of this was true.
We totally recommend the experience BUT be aware of the extra attractions you choose or it can end up being an extremely expensive day.
Just WOW! 100% a trip for everyone. The most fantastic views you can’t possibly afford to miss while visiting Mexico, so much to do and so much to see! The rivers were absolutely breathtaking, we paid extra for a photo package but I would recommend buying a waterproof case/holder for your phone. We didn’t buy any extra activities as there was already so much to get through in one day, overall such a brilliant trip! So much cheaper to book with ViaTour than the hotel rep.
I was so impressed at how organized it was at the park. Even though there were a lot of people in attendance, it definitely did not feel like it because there were a lot of workers who attended to your needs. I’ve travel to a lot of different places in the world, and xcaret by far has been the most organized and best park I’ve been to! Not only was it a breeze to go thru lines, buying stuff at the registers or even as little as using the bathrooms with minimal to no lines; the food was exceptional. Everything done at the park was well thought of and I highly highly recommended it to anyone visiting the area. All the workers were so helpful and so nice, they made the excursion fun and safe!
And you have to, have to stay for the show at night. The show was soooo amazing! I was so glad we made it a point to stay even though it was going to be a long day. Xcaret was worth every dollar spent! You’ll be very well taken care of there.
I have visited this setting multiple times over the years and have been thrilled every time. The night show is a must - get the dinner. Not only is it delicious, it is economical and gives you access to preferred seating. We sat row 1 beside one of the entrances for the performers - amazing experience. What a amazing venue - you can learn so much or just have fun. Explore as much as you can - there isn't a dull moment.
When we were picked up at our Cancun resort, the driver told us that our names were not in the system. I showed him my written confirmation and he was able to resolve the matter when we arrived at their bus depot/headquarters where we changed to another bus that brought us to Xcaret. The guide on the bus talked our ears off the entire ride, loudly repeating himself over and over. He kept telling us that it would be a great decision to spend 69 for the park's picture service. He talked so much it made us dizzy. It turns out that many, if not most of the best attractions at Xcaret cost a lot more additional money to partake in, typically an additional 60 more per person, per attraction. This is like going to Disney World and paying a lot extra for each of the top attractions like Space Mountain. We paid 30 each for a buffet tip. It was pretty good for mass-produced food. The animals at the park were very enjoyable to see, especially the manatees and turtles. Great macaws! The aquarium displays are EXCELLENT! My wife swam the full length of the underground river and enjoyed it very much. We also enjoyed the beach. We wanted to go on the half-hour speedboat ride but no thanks for an additional 60 each. I recommend this excursion but realize that once there, it can cost you a fortune to partake in the top attractions! We were glad we went, but would not go again.
Be sure to call the tour operator 2 days in advance before the excursion to get the correct pickup time. Our confirmation stated 8:15am pick-up. When I called they said 7:30am. We were downstairs waiting to be picked up at 7:20. Well the bus pulled up at 7:26am. My husband and I began walking towards the bus, but we were actually behind it. At exactly 7:28 2 minutes later the bus took off without us. The driver did not hear us yelling or see us running. I immediately called the tour office, and spoke to a woman asking her to send the bus back to us. She said they are on a schedule and we would need to meet up with the bus at the next stop. So I asked her the hotel name, and fortunately there were taxi's lined up right next to our hotel so we grabbed one for 8 USD and headed off to the next hotel. Thank Gawd we make it. When I asked the Guide why they took off so quickly, and why they did not wait until the clock hit 7:30 he said they didn't see anyone waiting so they figured we must have made other plans. Not a good way to run a business.
Anyhow the park is beautiful and amazing. We were done, tired, and wiped out by 2:30pm so we grabbed a taxi and came back to our hotel for some R and R.
