Our tour guide, Miguel, was very patient, kind, and funny, and he made the trip an enjoyable experience. Our driver, Alfredo, also was so very sweet, and a very good and safe driver; he drove through streets with cars on both sides of the road! Alfredo never failed to provide us with hand sanitizer every time we entered the bus. The day was well planned out. Although I would've wanted more time at Chitzen Itza and the Mayan Ruins, it would not have been feasible with the later plans of eating at the authentic restaurant which was very delicious and swimming in the very refreshing Cenote! Swimming in the Cenote was one of the highlights because it was like heaven and a huge relief from the scorching heat. I would recommend this trip to anyone looking for a full day of fun and history as well as those who want a brief tour/explanation at the Mayan Ruins.

Tour guide Mike was helpful, knowledgeable, and funny. Did a great job leading the group. Chichen Itza was amazing and had plenty of time. Lunch and swimming was also great and had plenty of time. Did have to pay for a life jacket to swim but it was only $2. Then walking around the city was a short and fun little stop. Overall, easy and quality transportation, good food, great tour guides, and fun stops. Would do it again and definitely recommend.

Amazing Tour, perfection!

Everything about this tour was awesome. Our guide was amazing, the driver was friendly and drove well. Our guide (so sorry I forgot his name) was super informative even when we asked him a million questions, he made jokes throughout the trip and explained in detail what we were to expect during the trip. We stopped at a blue agave field first where we could use the facilities and purchase souvenirs, it was super picturesque so we had a photo op too of course. Then we headed to chichen itza, he took care of entry which looked overwhelming if you don’t know what you’re doing, and we had wonderful explanation of a few buildings, we were encouraged to ask questions, and then we had an hour to walk around and take more photos and explore. There’s plenty of souvenir tables there which are super cheap, a lot being $1. We got back on the bus and headed to a breath taking resort type place where we had a 4 course lunch prepared for us outside (drinks not included) and we got to decide how much time we spent on lunch and the cebote that was there. Which was so amazing! We had gotten to swim in another cenote the day before and this was completely different in the sense that it was like a huge hole in the ground and a waterfall that came in it. The cenote was amazing, they had a diving area, a place to change clothes, shower, lockers, life jackets.
Then we headed to a small colonial town which was so adorable and got to walk around for a little bit check out the colorful homes and beautiful church. Our guide was kind enough to understand most of us were tired by this time and let us know he wouldn’t be bothering us for the trip back lol. Overall absolutely amazing, don’t hesitate and book this trip! You get so much for this price. If I had to say one negative thing, it just would be a better form of communicating with the operators, we had a meeting point planned through email however there was no phone number or way to contact them when we weren’t sure if we were in the right spot so that was a bit worrying but they had a clipboard with our names in it so we knew it was them. Otherwise this excursions was perfect!

Good experience

The reason why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the restaurant in Cenote took an hour an a half to serve food and it was not even the whole meal. We arrived at Cenote at 3 pm and had until 5:00 to go back to the bus and I literally had 20 minutes to enjoy the Cenote. The restaurant knows that so many people are attending, so why not be prepared?? My advise, forget about eating and enjoy the water at Cenote that is a lot better than wasting time eating. Outside of that, Alejandro, Miguel and Paco did an amazing job with all the history that was given to us about the Mayan Culture!!

Very well organized, safe and worth the price

We had a nice air-conditioned coach bus that took us place to place. It was nice being able to leave our stuff locked up when we didn’t need it. Our guide was very informational and explained everything in both Spanish and English. The restaurant had amazing food and every part of the trip was well organized. Since we went during Covid, there were mask requirements everywhere we went, bathrooms available, and lots of sanitizing. We felt very safe and comfortable during all parts of our trip. I would highly recommend this trip for anyone who likes history, Spanish culture, and fun experiences!

Must do experience
Keionna_B
, Mar 2021
This is a must do experience. Mike and Manuel were amazing guides. March is the best time to go to Chichen Italy because it is definitely the dessert out there. I suggest you bring snacks because you will be gone allll day. And be prepared to deal with vendors at chichen itza and the colonial town after. Definitely buy the tequila its amazing but you gotta gotta gotta bargain never take the first price offered. Mike your tour guide is honest and will advice you to bargain as well. If you bring a pro camera or anything that looks like a go pro you'll pay $2.50 at chichen itza. Also your paying $30 admission for chichen itza so keep that in mind
