Your first stop is Bosques de Palermo, a sprawling outdoor space filled with beautiful rose gardens.

Then, proceed to Plaza de Mayo, lined with grand 18th-century buildings such as Casa Rosada, the pink governmental center, before exploring San Telmo, home to cobbled streets and Gothic architecture.

Drive down the world's widest boulevard, Avenida 9 de Julio, passing the world-famous Teatro Colon along the way to La Boca.

Take in the colorful, corrugated iron houses of La Boca and drink in the bohemian atmosphere Caminito, reputedly the birthplace of tango.
