Budapest Pub Crawl with Skip-the-Line Access

I arrived at the meeting point to be met by a young lad. The first questions I was asked was have you paid & how much!! I then showed my confirmation! After waiting 15 mins after departure time we were off and after a couple of minutes we were stopped at a ATM where we were told to get cash out!! Bizarre however all became clear later on. On arrival at the first bar, it seemed ok however everyone was unclear on how things worked. We were told to go into the bar and would have 45 minutes. We were then left to ourselves! No interaction from the hosts. After a while the pre-paid shot arrived! Very odd set up. We were then taken to our second spot where things took a turn! Basically it was the bar of a run down hostel! It was empty, there was no music and it was badly run down. This was where we were told we were to have our 1 hour inclusive drinks.. 3 options: wine, wine spritzer (basically shot of wine) or draft beer. The place was filthy and had no atmosphere. At this point I had considered leaving however hoped it would inprove. There was no host participation, games or information regarding the area/ruin bars etc. It all seemed like a massive effort for the host (at this point we were left with 2 young student lads)! After leaving the hostel bar, everyone was abruptly pulled to one side where the host then demanded that as he now deemed us to be suitably ‘drunk’ that we were to give him some money as he had rent to pay!!!! Everyone as you can imagine was in shock and felt uncomfortable. We were told the value of money he expected and were basically held to ransom until we paid otherwise we would not be moving on to the next bar. I reluctantly gave 3000 HUF however I was very angry. The host then started to go up to everyone individually asking for money, it was very embarrassing and disgraceful! People had already paid to be on the trip and should be able to make own choice if wished to give a tip at the end of the evening. Basically the pub crawl (If can call it that) wasn’t even worth the money I had already paid, it was unorganised and an utter joke! The host then reluctantly started to walk down the road in a sour mood which as you can imagine left a terrible atmosphere. Some people had left the tour at this point in utter shock. We had to determine ourselves that the host was actually taking us to the next bar (by this time we weren’t sure if he was just walking home). The host walked us in the bar and then disappeared.
