The Rajkó Folk Ensemble collects the best artists in the country and guarantees a riveting show. Their dancers achieve spectacular successes while wandering among different music genres. An excellent example of this success is the ensemble’s dances choreographing Strauss music and having been performed at 1100 events all around France for 11 years. The same performance is approaching its 100th occasion in Poland. The choreography derives from the dances and Hungarian folklore of village life hundreds of years ago.

Your traditional folk performance will not only entertain, but will leave you with a richer understanding of Hungary’s culture through the music, steps and vibrant costumes. The show lasts around 90 minutes with a fifteen minute intermission.

The Aranytíz Kultúrház is a centrally located, easily accessible venue but leave nothing to chance and get your theathre tickets with included transfer service!

After arriving at the venue, your host will escort you to your seat in your selected seating category for your evening entertainment. Depending on your chosen date, you’ll enjoy a show by the Danube Folk Ensemble, the Rajkó Folk Ensemble or the Hungarian State Folk Ensemble. No matter which you choose, you can be sure you’ll be entertained by some of the best professional folk performers in Hungary; all three performance groups were founded in the 1950s and have shown off their talents around Hungary and abroad! The artists in each ensemble perform choreography based on authentic dances, some of which date back to isolated villages from hundreds of years ago. As you watch and listen, gain an entertaining understanding of Hungary’s heritage through the music, dancing and costumes of the folk show. Each show consists of two 40- to 45-minute sections with an intermission of ten to fifteen minutes.
