Chocolate treat

First be aware. It was an hours tram/ bus ride out there to the suburbs. The museum is an old house in a residential area. We arrived early and were asked to sit in the garden The tour takes you around the house with various chocolate treats and history. You get you try Hungarian spirit and make your own tart. At the end there is chocolate cake tea and wine around an ornament table. There is a small chocolate shop. Very informative host and a lot of chocolate!

More Chocolate Than You Can Imagine

Andrea was a well-informed, kind and engaging guide. And she kept bringing us chocolate! We went in a small group and it was a delightful way to see the museum and find out about the history of chocolate in Budapest. It was well worth the jaunt out of the city center. It was more fun than either I or my daughter imagined.
