Do not miss a tour of the synagogue and Jewish museum. We enjoyed the lunch on the Danube offering a short cruise. These two tours are not connected so we did not share the boat ride with members of our tour group

We enjoyed the walking tour, but my wife had to run back to the hotel to change her shorts and top - we should have been told what the dress code was BEFORE the tour. Also, we could not finish the walking tour and had to rush to the Danube River Lunch Cruise - the Lunch Cruise was great, though. The food was fantastic.

We enjoyed the tour! Our guide was well informed and answered any questions. Definitely more than we would have known on our own. The lunch cruise was beautiful, comfortable, and a good introduction to Hungarian food in a relaxing atmosphere. We were interested in the televised information about our surroundings, however the music that was playing, made it difficult to hear the narration.

The Jewish Heritage Walking Tour was by far the best tour we have taken through Viator! Our guide was very knowledgeable, polite, extremely helpful, and very fun to spend the 3.5 hours with. My wife and I did this tour with my almost 70 year old mother who was born in Budapest and lived there until she was 23 years old. She said our guide knew things that she didn't know or had forgotten about. It was a wonderful way to spend our morning. In the afternoon we went on the Danube River Lunch Cruise. For some reason there was no information given on how to transfer to this tour from the first. They are two separate areas and it was confusing how to get from one place to another, luckily our guide from the first tour was able to get us a cab ride and we made the lunch in time. Also while the lunch itself was good food there was no naration on where we were saling. Except for the fact that the name of the tour tells you what river you are on there is no other information given. It was a bit disappointing, but the morning walk was wonderful!!! We highly recommend the Jewish Heritage Walking Tour, but unless they update the Lunch cruise, skip it!
