The 10 Tastings of Bruges With Locals: Private Food Tour

This was one of the best tours we have had! The tour guide was gracious, knowledgeable (born and raised in Bruges). All of our stops were meaningful and of course delicious. We learned so much about Bruges along the way. Wow. Highly recommend this tour to anyone who loves food and is looking for a guide who knows their way around Bruges. Amazing.

Great value food tour. We loved the chocolate, beer, and waffles. We were a group of 7, including grandparents and kids ages 9, 7, and 3. Everyone enjoyed it. This tour has more history than your average food tour, so it was a good orientation for our first day in Bruges.

We had an amazing tour round this beautiful city with Jay - informative and fun with lots of tasty treats along the way. The whole family and even our dog, Archie had a great time. Highly recommended!

Our guide Anna was extremely friendly and a real historical encyclopedia! The tastings scattered through the trip made it all the more fun :)

Our guide knew very little of the food or the city. Our tastings consisted of: a small seafood salad/aspic--wonderful!; a small plastic tub filled with 4 tablespoons of tiny raw shrimp; a half glass of beer accompanied with bits of greasy cold sausage and cheese; a half of a waffle; a tiny piece of chocolate; some cold French fries with a bite of a cold sausage covered in raw onions; a coffee. Our guide told us she had 4 jobs so we tipped her because we felt sorry for her. The food was inedible and many times we had to stand outside in the cold or inside with babies crawling over us and no place to sit. I would not recommend this experience to anyone. The cost was outrageous compared to the food and value we received..

We were a party of 6+baby who enjoyed the many flavours of Bruges on this tasting experience. From seafood to waffles, fries to chocolate all very tasty.

Onze gids Jay heeft ons een geweldige middag bezorgd in Brugge. Zeker een aanrader met kinderen. Lekkere proeverijen tijdens de wandeling en de zeer fijne uitleg over Brugge van Jay.

Nous avons fait une visite super de la ville de Bruges! Notre guide Patrick nous a raconté plein d’anecdotes et nous a emmenés dans les petites ruelles perdues le tout dans une belle ambiance très sympathique ! Une manière très originale et gourmande de découvrir cette jolie ville!
