A must do, especially if you love animals or just want to have a great day and be educated. Plenty of interesting things to see and do not just for children but adults too.

The Australia Zoo was the highlight of my 2.5 week trip! I saw Norman ? the baby tiger walking next to me & held a koala, what could be better?? The bus was on-time & the hints they gave us about the zoo were great!

Thank you Kate for your bright and happy review. It's so lovely to read this at a time when we are all in lockdown and missing the happiness of a job in tourism. Stay safe!

I've always wanted to visit the Australia zoo, so I was thrilled when I finally got the chance. The service was great, a friend and I took the bus from Brisbane to the zoo and back again, with a generous amount oftime at the zoo itself. The zoo is terrific, and our driver was very polite and entertaining. There was a slight confusion about pickup that could have been handled better on both sides, but overall I highly recommend, it was a great trip.

Maybe find another ride

Things to know that we weren’t aware of - NO drinks or food allowed on the bus. Also, the bus that picks you up at the hotels is not the bus that goes to the zoo. Once everyone is picked up, they take you to a bus station where another tour bus takes you to the zoo. The bus driver who picked us up at the hotels, Bob, was extremely rude and sarcastic with everyone on the bus. He also arrived 10 mins early at the stop and then rushed us on the bus as if we were late, when our scheduled departure time was not for another 10 mins. He talked down to anyone who asked a question and made the ride very unpleasant. The driver to the zoo was a different man and he seemed incredibly unhappy to be there as well, but he at least wasn’t rude to the guests. Also, since it doesn’t list the departure time on here, it is 4pm from the zoo. I would recommend another tour ride if possible, since the staff on this tour is so unhappy to provide the service.

Great Australia Zoo Tour

This tour went very well. The drive to the zoo is beautiful and the zoo itself is a very pleasant place to spend your day. There is plenty of time to see the animals, go to the Crocoseum show, eat lunch, and buy some souvenirs. Make sure to stop by the Wildlife Hospital to see their facilities.

Great day, helpful driver, low attendance made it worthwhile.

This was a great day. I was a solo traveler so having a driver and not having to worry about directions was wonderful. I thought to total cost was reasonable. The driver was pleasant and his comments along the driver were interesting and his tips about the zoo were very helpful. This was not a big zoo compared to others I have visited (like the San Diego zoo) so I did not feel the walking was excessive or that I needed more than the 6 hours to experience all the animals. I was there on a weekday and it was expected to be rainy so the zoo itself was VERY lightly attended. This meant I was able to see all the animals I wanted to and there were no lines for food or to even hold a koala. Many exhibits I viewed without anyone nearby. The animals were all out and active and I had a great time. I did not see the big croc show but I wasn't there for the crocodiles. Overall - great day!
