Cruise and Snorkel beautiful Bonaire

We joined seven others for this trip, so in total 9. This trip takes 14, however, we think this would be too many for the space available on the 40ft sailboat was limited. The kiosk to check in was a short walk from the ship. We departed on time at 9am. Transport to the marina was a short distance away and consisted of one car and one pick-up truck. We travelled in the car, 2 fellow passengers had to travel in the bed of the pick-up truck, which I do not think was safe in my opinion. Our captain was Gordon, he was very friendly and informative about Bonaire as he moved there from Texas over 8 years ago. We had 2 other crew on board, both were very friendly and helpful throughout our trip. We sailed for about 45 minutes to Andrea, in the marine park. The water was very clear and warm. Both of the crew went into the water with our group, checking on us all the time and ready to provide any assistance. The boat was equipped with a long ladder that made it easy to board after snorkeling. Once snorkeling had finished, we were given sandwiches of raisin bread with brie and tuna sandwiches, even better was the mango punch. We were not offered any alternative drinks, however, the mango punch was wonderful. Giving 4 stars because of limited drink choice and no water to rinse off after snorkeling. We would definitely book this trip again.

We checked in at 12:00 and expected to depart for our sail and snorkel tour at 12:30. Instead we stood on a corner in the hot sun for over 45 minutes and waited for van to pick us up. We finally arrived at he dock at 1:35 only to find out that the sail boat cruise that we had booked would now be a lifeboat with a very small motor. I really wish that someone would have told us about the problem when we checked in and we would have scheduled something else. We wasted an entire afternoon on this beautiful island. This was the absolute worst excursion ever!!

We had enough in our group to book the entire boat. It was amazing! The crew took great care of the few in our group that had never Snorkeled. I would do this trip again on our next cruise to Bonaire!

Our National Marine Park Snorkel Trip was great. Captain Wim, Mary Ann, and Gordy provided a very memorable sail and snorkel adventure aboard a beautiful sailboat. The scenery of the island both in and out of the water was breathtaking. Delicious food and beverages were included. Our hosts were very knowledgeable and friendly. We were made to feel like friends out for a fun day rather than clients. Both experienced snorkelers and novices would enjoy this tour. Our party of six would definitely consider re booking this excursion.

Great tour. Captain and crew were all terrific. Snorkeling wasn't quite as good as I hoped, but still very good.

What a great experience. Safety was a top priority without too much time away from snorkeling. We saw so many beautiful reef fish. We were also fortunate to spot a small turtle and some scuba divers. The winds were rough on our way back to dock, but that added to the sailing experience. We cannot say enough about the crew - they were fantastic.
