Overview

Explore the marine environment of the Koahala Coast with the benefit of guided commentary on this excursion. Your guides will take you to the wildlife hot spots, which gives you a great chance to spot dolphins, turtles, and whales (in season: December to April). Hop off the boat for some swimming and snorkeling, with assistance and instruction in the water by your crew. A picnic lunch with water, soda, and juice is included midday.

Directions to Kawaihae Harbor-South: From Hwy 19 bear left onto Hwy 270 (Akoni Pule Hwy) and continue on Kawaihae Road. Turn left at the Kawaihae Harbor entrance (at signs for “Matson” and “Young Brothers.”) Turn left before guard shack. Turn right at next crossroads and continue until the comfort station and yellow gate before the boat slips. The vessel is at the end of the dock at slip S-01. Check in at the vessel Lavakai twenty minutes before departure. Boarding is from the catwalk near slip S-01.

We had a fantastic trip with Captain Brook and First Mate Indica!!! They were wonderful and knew how to take care of their boat and passengers. It was a great day on the beautiful ocean!
