Overview

There are few places in all of Hawaii more historic than Kealakekua Bay, as it's the spot where Captain Cook was killed in a skirmish with native Hawaiians, and the Hawaiian monarch, King Kamehameha III was born just a few miles away. The history aside, it's also one of the best places to snorkel on the Big Island of Hawaii, and you'll have the chance to experience the beauty on this snorkeling tour from Kona. Search for dolphins on the way to the bay while admiring the volcanic coast, and after scouring the red for coral and fish, climb aboard for a lunch that's served by the friendly crew.
  • Visit historic Kealakekua Bay
  • Search for and get in the water with wild dolphins
  • View Humpback whales in winter
  • Cruise the volcanic Kona coast
  • Lunch and snorkeling equipment included

Such a fun tour! Jacob and Kelly were awesome and we learned some interesting history of the coastline. We were really lucky and saw whales and spinner dolphins in addition to snorkeling. Lunch was fresh fruit and wraps. Everything was good and fresh. Would definitely recommend and probably do again next time we come back to the island.

It was an amazing tour! The captain and host made it such a fun and exciting experience. They are friendly, personable and funny dudes. The places we got to visit were beautiful and we got to see dolphins up close and all kinds of fish and wildlife in the ocean. The boat ride was smooth and fun! Thank you!

Boat crews were really nice and funny. I did dolphin snorkle. They knew exactly where dolphins were. On the way we met dolphins, we took pictures and video. We even met whales too!!! When i swim with dolphins , i was really happy. It was my first time. Boat is big and clean. I definatly do one more time if i come back hawaii island again.
