Excellent Tour Experience
, Mar 2020
Excellent tour. We saw > 100 dolphins and the bay they took us to was beautiful. Highly recommend bringing a good camera, even if it isn't water proof. There will be plenty of good picture opportunities besides the dolphins. On our tour, we were even lucky enough to see two whales.
Viator as a third party booking company/TERRIBLE COMPANY
, Nov 2019
We booked an event in Hawaii"I through Viator because it came up as an associate of Trip Advisor. It turned out to be the worst experience we have ever had with a booking company. They canceled a booking because an event was not available, then tried to book us on another trip that was much cheaper without giving us a refund. The first agent said we could not cancel because of the one day cancel policy. Viator canceled our trip and booked a trip that was much cheaper and would not give us a refund. The discussion with the agent was not friendly, not helpful, and didn't seem to know what she was doing. A supervisor was supposed to call us within a few hours to discuss the situation. We received an email much later and called Viator again in the morning. No change. We didn't go on the trip. After much pushback and frustration, the agent finally reluctantly suggested that we call the sailing company actually putting on the trip. We contacted the company and the representative was gracious, very helpful, and apologetic for our experience with Viator. We read a lot of reviews on different websites, and was not surprised that there were lots and lots terrible reviews about Viator which read much like ours. We consulted with our bank and are filling a dispute. We are writing a review to Trip Advisor about our experience as well.

This activity is a must for any trip to the Big Island. We were able to see multiple pods of Dolphins.
Swimming with the Dolphins
, Nov 2019
My husband, myself and another couple signed up for this excursion. Only 1 other couple showed up for the tour so the fact that the tour wasn't canceled or rescheduled was awesome! We were pretty much able to do whatever we wanted instead of stick to a schedule. We got to swim with 2 different pods of dolphins and a few of us even jumped in to see a few sharks. I wasn't feeling well and they made sure to go out of there way to give me a great experience. They pulled the boat up right alongside the pod of dolphins and I was able to watch them as if I was in the water with them. It was fabulous. I highly recommend this tour!
Very nice swim with dolphins

The crew was nice and swimming with the dolphins was an awesome experience. Just don't expect to really go to Kealakekua Bay.
Would do it again

Captain Taylor and Sage were amazing people. They make every effort to find dolphins for us to snorkel with and on multiple occasions we would relocate to an area of high concentration of them. The dolphins will do tricks and swirls and even interact with us visitors. Sage shows to enjoy his job as he even did a lot of free diving and inspire a couple of youth to this activity. Positive sanctioning is always a plus. Bring your kids to them if you want an early start on the sport of diving.

My family and I went on the dolphin snorkel trip and loved it. The boat maneuvers to the area where the dolphins are swimming through. You jump in the water and swim with them. Some playfully come closer and even jump out of the water. Later we went to the Captain Cook area to snorkel with fish. We were so exhausted but it was so much fun!
A great day on and under the water!

It was a great crew and the small size of the boat and small number of people on board made it fast to get in and out of the water so we could make multiple stop to see the most dolphins possible.
