The Umauma 9-Line Zipline Experience was fantastic! My family did another zipline in Maui, but by far this was the most fun and thrilling experience!!! The staffs were attentive to our 7, 10 and 15 yrs old children. Even our kids did up side down and many flips during several ziplining courses! Course 4 is our favorite!!! The views were breathtaking and amazing. Got it on video to show our families and friends back in Southern California. Can’t wait to come back! Would highly recommend this zipline!!!!!

My wife and I decided to go with Umauma Falls because of the great reviews. We were not at all disappointed. The guides were knowledgeable, entertaining and above all, safety was their number one goal. If you go, it would be best to go via independent transportation because getting an uber/lyft there is easy, but getting one back is a little more challenging because the place is out in the country. After ziplining we toured the beautiful botanical garden. It is a very scenic and peaceful environment with the three tier waterfalls in the distance. There is a small gift shop that sells snacks, t-shirts etc. Umauma Falls was a wonderful experience and we encourage anyone who is in Hilo to check it out.

Gorgeous location and friendly staff. Minimal walking between ziplines. But the wait at each station was a bit much, since every station is not manned. The same crew helps all zipliners and hence everyone has to wait until all in the group come across. This caused a 1.5- 2 hr to turn into a nearly 4 hr visit. Other than that it’s a fantastic place.
