Returns to original departure point
Emerge early and depart from central Belfast in a comfortable, air-conditioned minivan destined for the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Giant’s Causeway. Along the way, listen to legends surrounding the formation of the mystifying natural wonder that consists of hexagonal rock columns that fit together like a puzzle. Climb the coastal stones, listen to intriguing myths, and feel the invigorating ocean breeze as you spend some leisurely time at the natural landmark.

Travel the scenic Antrim Road to the famous Carrickfergus Castle, an impressive Norman fortress considered one of Northern Ireland’s best preserved. Hear of the structure’s intriguing history before traveling to the Old Mushmills Distillery, home to one of Ireland’s favorite brands of the amber nectar. Revitalize with lunch at the distilleries bar (own expense), and purchase special whiskey-related souvenirs from the gift shop (own expense).

Then, it's onto the famous Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge. On arrival, conquer your fears and walk tentatively across the rickety bridge suspended 100 feet (30 meters) above the crashing waves of the Atlantic Ocean (own expense). If you’d prefer to keep your adrenaline levels stable, opt for a bracing walk along the coast instead.

Relax during the scenic journey back to Belfast, which passes the medieval Dunluce Castle, and bid your guide farewell in central Belfast.

Due to covid some places were closed to visitors, we visited other areas. Stephen our tour guide was very informative throughout the whole day. Plenty of time at each stop to enjoy the scenery, take pictures and use the facilities is available.

We had a great tour experience with McComb's, visited Giant's Causeway, Carrickfergus, dark hedges, dunluce castle and cushenden caves. Patrick make the trip more fun with the story behind the places that we visit and spark it with friendly jokes. Thanks for the trip.

Great day to see extra of Northern Ireland. Derek was great, lots of knowledge and good humour. Lots of stops during the day, but a few that were mentioned in the package are actually closed during the pandemic, such as the distillery and rope bridge. No fault to the guide. Really enjoyable day, would recommend

Derek the driver & guide was so good. His input was the highlight for me. A shame that due to Covid the rope bridge is still closed.

This tour was an absolute bargain! Thank you so much for creating an affordable way to see some of the best sights in Northern Ireland. The tour ran smoothly the whole day and contained enough scenic stops that you never felt as though you were on the coach for too long. Derek was a very likeable guide and great driver too. Couldn’t have asked for anything better.
