Gaudi and Barcelona at its best
, Mar 2020
The full-day tour with Sergio was fantastic! The meeting place was walking distance from our downtown hotel and was easy to find. Sergio welcomed us and provided details of the plan for the day. We started with an hour-long walk through the beautiful cobblestone streets of old Barcelona, gazing at the facades of churches and alleyways. So quaint and beautiful! We then hopped on the bus to go to Mt Montjuic, visited the Olympic stadium, MNAC, and have more than enough free time for coffee and awesome views! On to Sagrada Familia which is the highlight of the trip. Sergio told us about Gaudi, the church history, and a lot of architectural details that are not to be missed. Lunch is on you. Just take one of Sergio’s recommendations and you won’t be sorry. Afterwards, we bussed to Park Guell, where we felt we’re in Wonderland with another taste of Gaudi’s work. La Pedrera was our last stop, right in the middle of downtown, an easy walk back to our hotel. Thank you Sergio for a wonderful day!
It was easy to book online & there was a quick response to our phone call the morning of the tour when we had some difficulty getting there. Our tour guide was terrific - lots of information presented in an interesting way along with plenty of time to get to sights.
This is one of the best tours that I have taken. Originally I was looking for a quick tour with access to the Sagrada Familia. However, what I actually received was much, much more. Our tour guide Rodrigo was fantastic! Very knowledgeable on the history, social climate, architecture and even fun facts and recommendations. He made the tour very enjoyable and well worth spending the long day.
The starting point of the tour is very easy to find, which is not always the case with city tours. The vehicle that takes you to the different locations is clean, maintained and has AC.
If you are looking for a tour of the best of Barcelona look no further this is it.
Sergio was knowledgeable and friendly. He was genuinely interested in showing us Barcelona. The tour sites were amazing. Being able to skip the lines allowed me to do more sightseeing. There were only 6 people on our tour. Sergio drove us around the city for a private tour.
Rodrigo was a very knowledgeable guide who brought through the barrio gótico ( easy place to get lost) with fascinating details of early settlers of Barcelona, many explanations of what the Catalans went through over the centuries including recent political events. I have lived in Spain ( Madrid during the Franco era) and was enlightened! We then drove to more distant areas. Sagrada Familia was special and Rodrigo gave us (we were 4) a wonderful history of the ongoing history of this special symbol of Barcelona. Later in the day we went to Guell park, a mother Gaudí creation and ended the day visiting another Gaudí building. The tour was very well done! Highly recommend!
The walking toru was very good. Our guide was Rodrig, is a very acknowledge person who give us in few hours a good idea of Barcelona history. We walk thru the Gothic district discovering lots of places that being by yourself you will never see. I enjoyed very much!
This was a wonderful tour of Barcelona. Our tour guide Sergio was amazing, with detailed explanation on every single attraction we stopped at and answering our questions, and filling the discussion with humor and fun, and everything was according to schedule and punctual. Thank you for a fantastic time in lovely Barcelona.
