Elena was a doll. She was so upbeat. You could tell she was very committed to safety entire time. She was constantly giving us information and history on everything. We were a family of 5, with the daughters being between 16 to 22. It would be best if you had some experience riding a bike, however as a 52 year mom, I felt that I could ride comfortably after the first few minutes of adjustment. We did several tours and this was def a highlight for us. We saw so many different things. I would def recommend.
One of the best tours we have. Strew is funny, engaging and so knowledgeable of the city of Barcelona. There was another family in this tour with us and that family and our family feel so safe under Strew's guidance in busy Barcelona. We biked all the way to the beach and he brought us to this restaurant (I believe it's called NASS). Had the best Hake fish, chicken strips for kids and Barcelona's version of French fries. Seems trivial but they were really good.
Really enjoyable experience, which I'd absolutely recommend. Stu was highly knowledgeable and very interesting to listen to. My only very slight issue is that we did go at quite a pace and would have liked to have taken in more of the surroundings as we cycled rather than charging along to keep up with the group overall though first class
Had a great tour with Stru. He was fun and knowledgeable and had a focus on safety as we cycled around the busy streets. We've been to Barcelona several times and found this one of the best tours we've taken. Thank you Stru!
The staff were super nice, and funny, and informative. The bikes are in a great condition, and I felt safe throughout. The routes we cycle were all cycle lanes, and paths. It was also a great opportunity to meet other people from different countries who were also on the tour with you. The only little criticism I had was that there wasn't enough time in the tour to have an actual look around at the sites you stop at - we probably had about 10 mins. However, my friend and I did this tour on the 1st day of our trip and so used the tour as a little introduction to Barcelona, and we went ourselves later on to enter and properly explore the sites. So I would recommend you pre-book tickets for things such as the sagrada familia for another day as well as the tour if you really want to look inside!
But other than that, a great tour!
Marco was my tour guide and was very informative and super friendly. He knew his stuff and gave us time to ourselves to take personal pictures. I would definitely recommend this bike tour and definitely ask for Marco!
