After making your own way to downtown Austin, meet your guide and receive an introduction to the Segway.

Have time to practice the controls for the Segway, then follow your guide into Austin’s streets once you are ready, which generally takes only a few minutes.

Your guide shows your hotels and buildings that are rumored to be haunted and shares their ghostly histories. You'll also stop by landmarks including the The Texas State Capitol Building — an Italian Renaissance Revival-style building with 22 acres (8 hectares) of gardens, Lady Bird Lake, and the165-foot (50 m) high Moonlight Towers, one of the world's only remaining light towers.

Stop at the Congress Avenue Bridge to look for residents of North America’s largest urban bat colony: about 2 million Mexican free-tailed bats that migrate every year to the southwestern United States from central Mexico.

You'll also pass through the 6th Street Entertainment District and hear about Austin's lively music and arts scene. Have time to stop along the way for great photo ops of the highlights of the Texas capital.

This tour was awesome! This was our first time in Austin and our first time riding segways and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Our guide was low key and fun and made this such a memorable experience. I would recommend it to anyone and would absolutely do it again!

Paid for a bad tour but was not told the bats weren’t in season kind of disappointing because it was cold outside overall it wasn’t too bad if you just like riding a Segway for the first time hurts your feet but it was fun that’s all I can really say about that

As an older adult I was nervous about riding the Segway but our guide was patient, a few minutes and practice and off we went. Wonderful fun tour of Texas's State Capital. Highly recommend this tour. We saw the State Capital Building, the Governor's Mansion, saw and heard some ghost stories, learned about a serial killer, and saw the bat's fly out from the bridge...plus had great fun riding the segways.
