Thoroughly enjoyed meeting and learning to cook 3 Greek dishes with Melina! We were given two options to choose from for our three course meal. Once decided, we were off to the local bakery for the bread needed to make our dessert......YUM!! Step-by-step instructions were given, as we prepared our meal while sipping fresh lemonade and cinnamon water. Looking forward to trying the recipes from our meal. Thank you again, Melina for a very enjoyable evening filled with delicious food, laughter and making a new friend.

This turned out to be the highlight of our trip to Greece. Melina was so welcoming and interesting to talk to. The short walk to the bakery and the butcher shop and the green grocers was a delight. The three courses we fixed were all excellent. We had so much fun fixing the meal with Melina. This is the part of our trip that we have ended up talking about the most to our friends. By the way--I expected to buy the ingredients for our meal, but no, Melina buys everything.

Meline was an awesome host. Everything was perfect. We first thought that it would be a bigger group, but it was really just us and Melina, which made it a very personal experience. It is a three course menu with different variants, which we were able to choose from. From the shopping of the ingredients to the actual cooking, she guided us through everything. This was an amazing class with an amazing host. Chef Meleena made us feel welcomed like we were a part of her family. After choosing our recipes we walked over to some local shops to buy our ingredients and hen we cooked and ate together. Highly recommend his class!

Melina was wonderful! We met at her home and went shopping for ingredients to prepare a 3 course meal. We stopped at a couple of shops along the way and she even bought us some authentic Greek treats to try as we cooked. She had 4 types of flavored water prepared as one person in the group did not drink alcohol. She is a very knowledgable person. She even had a cooking show on tv for 7 years and has published a cook book! She also emailed us the recipes afterwards. If you like to cook and want an experience with a local, this is the way to go!

Melina is a wonderful,cheerful, warm, friendly, very welcoming person that from the get go made us feel at home! Her house has such a calm,warming ambiance. Our cooking class was absolutely awesome. We began our experience by walking to a local shop. After that we had an unforgettable time learning how to cook two Greek dishes and a Greek dessert. We were able to eat the dishes we prepared with a lovely red wine which Melina gave us. She is such a great instructor and she clearly puts a lot of thought and planning into the cooking instructions and preparation beforehand. Melina kept it Greek, but adjusted it to make it not just tasty, but also very healthy. The experience was not only fun, but also educating and now we can cook all of those dishes at home. From start to finish, it was a lovely evening of cooking and learning more about Greek culture. We would absolutely recommend this cooking class, and we will be booking it again when we return to Athens in the future!

This was a great experience. It was more like having dinner with a close friend or family member than a cooking class. We lost track of time talking over the delicious food that we created. Melina gave us advice on food and heath and more than just the recipes that were on offer. She's such a genuinely warm person. We walked away knowing more about Greek cuisine and having gained a friend.

I wpuld recommend this private cooking class, it was our favorite part of the trip to Athens.
