Ride horses through Aruba's landscape during this 2.5-hour tour. Get matched with a horse according to your skills and experience, then follow your horseback riding guide through Arikok National Park to a local swimming hole to cool off. Hotel or port pickup and drop-off is included.
  • 2.5-hour horseback riding tour through Arikok National Park
  • Go swimming in a natural pool
  • Riding instruction from a guide
  • Bottled water
  • Safety helmet
  • Hotel pickup and drop-off
Begin your horseback riding adventure with pickup at your Aruba hotel or at a centrally located meeting point, where you'll climb into a comfortable tour vehicle for the trip to Rancho Loco.

Once there, meet your horseback riding guide, who will match you with a horse according to your skills or abilities. You can also get instructions and guidance on how to handle the horse; no horseback riding experience is necessary for this tour. Get comfortable with your horse and the commands before heading out on the trail.

Ride through Arikok National Park and up into the highlands for photo-worthy views of the island. Descend through the sand dunes to the beach, where you'll ride along the shoreline to a natural pool. Spend about half an hour exploring the area and swimming (optional). Climb back on your horse and head back to the stables.

Say goodbye to your trusty steed, climb back into your ground transportation, and you'll be transported back to your original departure point.

Beautiful sights and uncommon transportation

I had no horse riding experience before this excursion and I had a great time. Getting to see this neat piece of Aruba from horseback was such a fun experience! The sights and the natural pool were beautiful and the horses were incredibly well-trained. Our tour guide left much to be desired in terms of information and interaction, but apparently he wasn’t the full time guide.
Wouldn't miss this!

Would highly recommend this trip. Such a beautiful way to explore some of Aruba's national park and the beauty of the island. The tour guide was fun and we enjoyed good conversation along with beautiful views as we headed toward the natural pools. The natural pools are an incredible addition to your trip to Aruba and we were able to spend some time swimming and cooling off before our trek back to the ranch. The horses were great, so well behaved and easy to ride (this coming from someone who hasn't been on a horse in probably 15 years!!). If we ever get another opportunity we would definitely do it again.
Best tourist-y experience of all time!

Andreas and the whole Rancho Loco team were great - fun, funny, knowledgeable, competent, and overall helped make our amazing horseback trip to the Natural Pool a special experience we will never forget. An hour each way, on Candelita and Carmelo, our rides were tranquil and serene and also absolutely gorgeous, along the beach and the crashing waves, and returning as the Aruban sun set. Can't recommend this adventure any more.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. The horses were nice and well taken care of. The staff was very friendly. I’d do this over the ATVs any day! Great for beginner to expert riders. Do it! Don’t miss out!
Great Time

This was such a great excursion! The guides were great and told us many things on our trip from the ranch out to the Natural Poo (which can only accessed by ATV, Jeep or horse) Weather was perfect with party cloudy skies and a very nice breeze especially when we got to the top of the mountain and 84 degrees. We had a chance to swim in the Natural Pool for about 20 minutes but we just took lots of beautiful pictures. The horses are very friendly and easy to control as this was only my second time on a horse. The views on this trip were so awesome. Loved, loved this excursion. Highly recommended!!!

This was so much fun. Scenery you won’t see on any other tour. Our guide Andreas was very friendly and informative. A ranch dog tagged along on our tour. Horses are well trained, we had no fear as inexperienced riders. You get to take in the countryside and see the goats and lambs in their habitat. I highly recommend this over a UTV tour, no experience like it. Thank you rancho loco!
