This is a great family venue with something for all ages. This would have gotten five stars, but there was confusion regarding levels of service and what was included. We stayed for six hours. The flamingos stole the show.

the buffet was ok, not too many options to eat. Food was decent. Great place to relax and enjoy the water and sun. Beach was kinda of rocky so bring water shoes!

Great Excursion but Flamingos Off Limits

6 hours at the Waterpark was a great idea: free snorkeling, food and drinks. The waterslide was awesome but the beach sucked with all the big rocks in the water. Need better transportation instructions upfront: put pick up times from the hotels on the instructions paper. The hotel told me I had to get there on my own (taxi) only to find out the bus missed 10 people from my hotel. We did ride the bus back. Another downside was getting grief for taking photos of the flamingos because they were on the "private" side. We're on a tiny tiny Island and the flamingos are on the private side???

Always something to do. Snorkeling, taking pictures with flamingos, water slides, salsa lessons, food, drink, adult drinks…. Plenty of shady spots, but also plenty of sunshine. All in all Great experience!

A great day!

A great experience. We added the Cabana package which was wonderful. To have shade, refrig, towels, plenty of room, champagne. The snorkeling was wonderful. Plenty of fish. Coral is coming back. Water so warm and clear. Easy access into and out of water. Our 18, 19, and 22 yo girls loved the water slide. They were so busy they forgot about banana boats. Zip line has been taken out. Food was plentiful, drinks good. Hamburgers and fries really good. 71 and 76 yo grandmothers loved the snorkeling too. Check in was fast and polite. Boat to and from island was comfortable and available. No waiting. Again very polite staff. Will do again when back in Aruba, especially with first time visitors. And definitely with cabana. worth the $250 extra. We came in our rental car so did not use buses from hotel.'' Thank you DePalm Island for a great time.

De Palm what happened to your friendless
Brett_B

Except for the barmaid Keesha the experience with other staff was deplorable. Food Service staff where throwing toilet paper in the bathroom. Helpfulness if staff at snorkel area cared less if you where there pretty much find your gear on your own. Only one boat on departing for so many people. Unsafe amount onboard. Not a good idea.

We enjoyed the day at De Palm. A lot to do. It wasn’t very busy so felt quieter and very relaxed. Took some pictures by the Flamingos. The water slides were fun. Enjoyed a banana boat ride. So much all included.
