Catamaran snorkeling cruise in Aruba
Start your day on the boat with Champagne, croissants and Danishes
Enjoy being out on the water and admiring views of the island
Snorkel at three different locations to spot native marine life
Experiment with the ‘third lung’ underwater breathing system as an alternative to snorkeling
Dine on paella, chicken salad, cheese and fruit — plus more Champagne — for lunch
Meet your catamaran at Pelican Pier on Aruba’s northwest coast and be welcomed aboard. Take a seat in the shade or stretch out on the sunbathing trampoline of the spacious boat. As you set sail for the open sea, be lulled into island time by tropical breezes and Caribbean music on board.
You’re served mimosa paired with a light breakfast by an attentive crew. Enjoy Danishes and croissants accompanied by coffee, tea and juice.
On arrival at the first of three snorkeling spots, slip on your mask, fins and snorkel and jump into the crystal-clear water. Swim alongside tropical fish and go in search of vibrant marine life. At your next stops, you can continue with traditional snorkeling or try the ‘third lung’ system; this allows you to explore deeper territory underwater while breathing through a tube connected to an air supply on the water’s surface.
When you've worked up an appetite, feast on chicken salad, ham and cheese, seafood paella, assorted breads and fresh fruit. Order unlimited drinks from the open bar or let the Champagne continue to flow.
Your sailing adventure ends back at Pelican Pier in the early afternoon.
Great boat to be on- well kept. Crew was great ,friendly, and made you feel good. Food served was good- plenty of it. Snorkeling gear was it great shape. Better than what I brought. The places they took you to were very good- especially the sunken ship- some of themost fish and different fish I have seen .
good price .
well do it again
If you enjoy snorkeling and alcohol, this trip is a lot of fun.... The snorkeling is at best so-so, but the crew is terrific, entertaining, bar tending, and keeping everyone safe. Nice Paella for lunch. Overall my family had a great time. One thing I would mention was we brought our own snorkels because I'm always concerned about the sanitation on these; however, I watched the crew collect the loaned out snorkels and all were immersed and left in a large container of a lot of soap and water so at least an effort is being made.
Great crew, nice boat - plenty of space although there were more people than I expected aboard. Loved that they had champagne - but otherwise it's really the same as all of these snorkel cruises. I wish there was a slide or a rope swing but they did let you jump off the side of the boat. The champagne was a draw as well as the fact that it was breakfast AND lunch so you had a nice amount of time on the water. The bartender let me have my own bottle which I drank straight out of and took pics around the boat with. It was a good time. I was a little disappointed with the shipwreck snorkel spot - but it wouldn't have mattered which boat I was on. It was just a rough day on the water so it was very cloudy and hard to see anything too deep. Saw a decent amount of fish along the way though between the three stops.
This was An AMAZING experience. The guides were so tentative and truly dedicated to giving their audience an incredible experience. One of the guides was so willing to take me on the snorkeling tours with him to ensure my safety. He also constantly made sure I was okay and makes sure that my friend and I (pregnant) had enough to eat.
The trip was awesome and crew were great. 3 opportunities to snorkel and swim. The last stop had a ton of fish! Only reason I'm not leaving 5 stars is b/c I would have liked to see more of the island (this cruise focused on the north between Palm Beach & Arashi Beach). I'd recommend this trip and do it again.
We had a super fun time on this excursion! Check in was easy at the Pelican pier. Our tour guides were super nice and funny, you can tell they wanted us to have a good time. You get fruit, croissants and sweet rolls for breakfast. Then stop at 3 snorkeling spots. The shipwreck is hard to see but the other spots are good snorkeling. Then lunch is served. You can drink the whole time on the excursion. Glades makes the best drinks! We had such a nice time just laying out on the front of the ship. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
