Whales watching - never more

Strong north wind caused big waves on the ocean and it was raining, temperature 3 dgrees Celsius (in mid summer), but the trip was not canceled. The boat was so bumpy, that about 1/3 of the visitors were vomiting over the board and did not enjoy the trip at all. As the waves were going sometimes over the board, a lot of visitors had their shoes completly wet . There were no snack or drinks served as promissed.

We saw four humpback whales really close to the boat, which was more than we expected. We stayed with them for an hour in total. The guide was charming and knowledgable. Great trip and totally worth the money. Definately going back to Husavik. :)

we booked the whale watch tour in advance. it's a cloudy day but it's frozen on the boat in the sea. Luckily vendor do provide full gear including the glove to keep us warm. Highly suggest you bring a mask and hat. The vendor is very kind to provide hot chocolate and cookie on our way back which is really in need. we were able to sea quite a few whales on the way but all a bit far away. not sure whether ppl can be lucky enough to see the whale at short distance, that would be amazing. The guide was a young lady which makes the tour informative and exciting. She gave us clear instruction to locate the whale all the time. I would suggest trying this at sunny day if possible.

We were fortunate to have great weather and calm sea. Whales were prolific and close to the boat. Could not have been a better whale warching experience. We also noticed the speed boats rushing from siting to siting but generally arriving at the last of the activity. We were pleased we took the slow and steady pace as we had longer with the whales.

Nicely done tour. Saw several humpback whales and dolphins. Tour company provided survival overalls, but you still need to dress in multiple layers to keep warm. Don't forget to bring winter hat and gloves.
