Seeing the reef and all the fish was amazing. Definitely recommend to anyone travelling to the Whitsundays. Only thing I could say against it was the photos they take of you snorkelling is expensive to buy. $25 for one photo, and it’s just sending an email of it that’s it. Should be cheaper. Other than that, fantastic experience.

Great day from start to finish. Well organised and very safe. Staff we very friendly. Tea and coffee provided throughout the day, with breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea also provided at very good quality and plenty of it. Only 4 hrs on the actual reef pontoon, so it did feel a little rushed if you want to experience the semi submersible, have lunch and snorkel allowing time for your food to digest before going into the water. Stinger suits, masks, snorkels and lifejackets are all provided and good quality. We had very good visibility on the day we went for the snorkel with many different varieties of coral and fish to view. We were lucky enough to see a turtle at close proximity. Semi submersible could do with the windows cleaning as difficult to see through and not that great a variety of fish on the day we went but great for those who don't want to go in the water. Underwater observation area was also quiet with little fish activity but good view out onto the reef. Thoroughly enjoyed our trip and would recommend to others

This is a bucket list item! Everything was amazing, there is so many choices of things to do. We left from Airlie Beach port. My partner and I just chose to snorkel most of the day. But you can opt to dive, You spend 3hours travelling out to the reef, 4 hours at the reef and 3 hours home. It’s ample amount of time to have heaps of fun. The food on board was great lots of options but get in quick! The scenery out there is unreal. Underwater diver takes professional photos for purchase. It was such a relaxing fun day.

Reef visit was great. Snorkelling was awesome. However the cruise experience was a bit of a nightmare. Most of the staff looked like they didn't want to be there. The food provided....unless you push people out of the way and fight...you don't get fed. They run out of food because the clowns that push in first load up plates way more than needed. The polite people who wait nicely miss out. Then you look at people who don't even finish their plates. The bar lines are brutal. Wait times over 30 minutes.

Day on the reef…. Family fun even with a seafood allergy!

Was a very calm day on the water, which made the boat ride out and back pleasant. The reef was a little on the brown side, so not a lot of colour in the corals minimal fish as well. But was an enjoyable day. Was a little lacking in communication with notifying about lunch being available, especially with myself having a seafood allergy. Had to always go onto the boat to get drinks as well as didn’t have the bars open on the pontoon. People also ate on the boat which put prawns everywhere and nothing was cleaned up which made it very hard for me to be able to enjoy myself. Just touching seafood sets my allergy off I don’t just have to ingest it to make me react. So I really had to be very careful and I even notified the boat company before going.

Loved the day! The food was great and there was a huge amount of equipment available for snorkeling which we had been concerned about. We had the opportunity to snorkel as much or as little as we wanted and the semi sub was great too. One rather large let down was that we wanted to do the helicopter ride and, as it was a 6 seater and they didn't have 4 others to come up we couldn't do it (there were other groups who went up however but they had just been lucky enough to queue before us). Really disappointing that it wasn't communicated that you needed 6 people to go up. Also we were waiting for 2 other families who said they may go and therefore fill the helicopter for us. The staff member didn't bother to come and say that they hadn't confirmed so we could not do the trip. We were just left waiting for the remainder of the boat ride over. In general though staff were really great, very helpful and enthusiastic and we had a great day.

      An experience of a lifetime

There are many options on this trip - both for those who want to get wet and those who want to stay dry. There are free activities for both groups and for those who choose to dive or do guided snorkeling, excellent training. In my case I was keen to see the fish close up but the last time I tried snorkelling I was sickening for an unrelated major life-threatening illness which I had no knowledge of at the time and had to immediately get out of the water. On hearing my story and all my fears about snorkelling Melissa, the tour director, not only assured me with detailed instructions, she organised VIP treatment. I had two instructors to assist me. The experience was something I'll remember for the rest of my life. The brilliant colours of the 100s of fish we saw, the clams, the cleaning fish cleaning larger fish. I can highly recommend SNORKELLING SARARI. Yes it cost more but it was worth every cent. The only negative on the whole trip was the apparent policy of the owners to ban the words 'coral bleaching' in all the written and spoken information. It was very obvious that despite the abundant fish etc, much of the coral was not the colour that it was 50 years ago as David Attenborough attests. This was a perfect opportunity to make a scientific statement and inform the public but the reverse took place. The crew are also very caring and supportive to anyone having difficulty with sea sickness even supplying meds to those who want it. We did encounter rough seas but my magnetic bands, ginger tabs and ear plug in one ear held up. The biggest draw-back were the strong diesel fumes at the back of the boat in the toilet area. Inside - no problem. I would highly recommend this tour. It was the highlight of my entire holiday.

Snorkelling and the return trip through the Whitsunday Islands to Airlie Beach. Found that if your on a day trip and don't pay for the extras you can be left fending for yourself at times. This was particularly the case when you land at the Pontoon trying to get the right size for your stinger suit. This can be chaotic to start with as everyone rushes to get their snorkelling equipment. Found the driver of the submersible to be very rude and the submersible experience pretty average. Snacks and the lunch were good.
