On your way to Plitvice Lakes, you stop in the picturesque watermill village of Rastoke, sitting on top of a maze of streams and waterfalls, where you'll explore the old watermills and authentic houses connected with numerous waterfalls and small lakes.
After a 2.5-hour bus drive, you arrive at Plitvice Lakes. Ticket to the park is secured, but not included in the price. In the next 3.5 hours, you walk around the crystal clear lakes and enjoy hundreds of waterfalls that link them.
Late afternoon drive back to Zagreb ends at the same spot from where the day trip started, in Zrinjevac Park, a minute from the main square.
