Yellowstone National Park Self Driving Audio Tour

Yellowstone National Park Self Driving Audio Tour

Purchase one tour per car. Everyone can listen at the same time! Experience the raw power and beauty of nature at Yellowstone National Park. This enormous volcanic caldera has captured the American imagination for decades thanks to its explosive geysers, prismatic hot springs, and astonishing waterfalls. Home to some of the only wild bison and wolves on the continent, this park can’t be missed. The tour can begin at any of the park’s entrances. Due to poor signal in the park, download BEFORE arrival and use OFFLINE MODE. Note road closures on park website. Within 30 mins, we'll send you two things: a unique password and an app. Download the app onto your phone, enter the password, and download the tour. When you arrive, go to the first stop, launch the app, and follow the instructions! No expiration — The tour comes with lifetime validity! This is not an entrance ticket to attractions along the route. Check pandemic rules and opening hours before your visit.

Yellowstone's Fairy Falls And Imperial Geyser Hike

Yellowstone's Fairy Falls And Imperial Geyser Hike

Fairy Falls is Yellowstone's most popular hike, and you can add on another trail from there to Imperial Geyser, which is surrounded by a particularly beautiful pool! The hike takes five to six hours, from West Yellowstone. Crossing the Firehole River, we'll walk through the Midway Geyser Basin, coming across a few smaller hot springs, until we see steam billowing off both Grand Prismatic Spring and Excelsior Geyser Crater. After passing the rear of Grand Prismatic, we'll take a side trail to Fairy Falls, through a forest of new growth lodgepole pine trees. From Fairy Falls we'll make our way across a creek towards Imperial Geyser. The trail is pretty deserted now, as we meander in and out of forests, and across an open plain. We'll eat our sack lunches at the colorful Imperial Geyser, hopefully watching it erupt as we do so! Spray Geyser is visited on the way back. The hike is about six miles (9.6 kilometres) round trip. At least half the group must have bear spray!
