The Basics

You haven’t seen Valencia until you’ve seen its City of the Arts and Sciences, an icon in the Spanish city. The site encompasses the Prince Philip Science Museum, Hemispheric Planetarium (with its own IMAX cinema), Oceanographic Park (Oceanografic), and the Palace of the Arts (Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia). You can purchase solo tickets for each individual attraction within the park, or save on combo tickets to two or more of the buildings. It’s also possible to see the attraction on a guided tour of Valencia, which might include other experiences like rooftop wine tasting, a Segway sightseeing tour, or a guided bike ride through the city, depending on the option you choose.

Fabulous food and tour
We had a fabulous tour of the city of arts and sciences with a lot of information! The small group we were with was great fun and we had fun enjoying tapas in a small apartment 20 stories up with an amazing view of the city of arts and sciences and Valencia. The Food was all cooked on site and the wine was plentiful. It wasn’t rushed and a great explanation was given as to each course that we tried that was paired with a wine. I would highly recommend this tour!!!

Valencia City of Arts & Sciences Tour with Rooftop Wine Tasting and Tapas
Nacho, our guide, is a gifted young man, who has solid knowledge of the history of Valencia and the foods we tasted. The tour description was inviting enough, but doesn't even begin to describe the experience we had! We toured the old town and the new, and then had a fantastic meal, with wine included, on top of a 20 story apartment building that had beautiful views of the city and coast.

Valencia City of Arts & Sciences Tour with Rooftop Wine Tasting and Tapas
Recommend not to do this during the cold seasons as the highlight is to enjoy the rooftop in open air setting. The evening we took this tour was extremely windy and we stayed bit outdoors and had our meal indoors however the ambiance was cool. Its like eating tapas and three varieties of wines under a quaint setting.

Valencia's City of Arts and Sciences Tour
Amazing exhibits and would highly recommend anyone with or without children to go. Our guide was perfect as she engaged with our children and took us to all the important areas as it could be overwhelming as there is so much to see. 3 hours was perfect for our family.

Valencia City of Arts & Sciences Tour with Rooftop Wine Tasting and Tapas
After a misunderstanding of starting time. The your started with a walking tour of the magnificent Music, Art and science center.. Our guide was excellent and very charming. Afterwards we were taken to a high rise apt. There we enjoyed beautiful views of the city while tasting different tapas and finally small portions of the dinner menu. It was very enjoyable evening.

Lara was our guide for this very good tour. The roof top tapa and wine was wonderful and beautiful. Monty joined in with the making of the tapas and did a great job. Would highly recommend this tour. Thanks Lara and Monty

Valencia City of Arts & Sciences Tour with Rooftop Wine Tasting and Tapas
We had a very nice time with our guide, Nacho. The tour is spent mostly enjoying wine tapas and conversation with your group. We anticipated a little more sightseeing - there was no entry into the arts and sciences buildings. But it ended up being perfectly fine as we really enjoyed the rooftop setting. We prepared to socialize at a dinner table setting with your group. We had a great group so it was fun. Plus the drinks were flowing to loosen us all up! Great views as well.

Valencia City of Arts & Sciences Tour with Rooftop Wine Tasting and Tapas
Travelling on my own I was dubious as I thought it would be a big group of couples, but it wasn't. There was only a handful of us and we all got on really well, we even ended up going out together afterwards with Nick the guide! The tour was informative, food was amazing, wine was excellent and the view...well, only the highest point in Valencia - breathtaking! The best night of my holiday.

Valencia City of Arts & Sciences Tour with Rooftop Wine Tasting and Tapas
A good way to visit the City of Arts and Sciences. Our guide was a textbook of knowledge. The only disappointing part was the fact that the wine and tapas were served in a rented apartment rather than a local restaurant or a tapas bar.
