Turin history, art & nature in one place
3
This tour is the perfect choice if you like baroque and landscape art, history, royal mansions, medieval castles and want to enjoy the riverside, squirrels and ducks in the most ancient public park of Turin.
The Valentino park is a must to see in Turin and you will appreciate it even more with someone who has been living in the city for 44 years that will show you with knowledge and humor (why not?) also more hidden spots, in addition to the main features.
It's also nice to walk alone, but with an insider's explanation, without missing even a corner and in good company, it will be quite another thing!
The park hosts the Rock Garden (crossed by paved paths, little streams, water features, terraces, contemporary sculptures), a French style baroque castle owned by the royal family, a charming Medieval Village with its artisan shops and drawbridge, the impressive Fountain of the 12 Months and much more.
Plus, each season has its own charm and you won't be disappointed even in the cold months!
I'll be also at your complete disposal for any questions about Turin/Italy: what to visit, where to eat, transport, culture, language, etc. to make your experience as useful as possible. Consider me like your LOCAL FRIEND, not a guide!
*** IMPORTANT: The visit can start between 11am and 5pm, depending on the weather, season...
THE SCHEDULE YOU SEE ONLINE IS MERELY INDICATIVE, CONTACT ME BEFORE BOOKING.
