The archaeological find of the Lady of Cao, is undoubtedly an unprecedented fact that forces each Peruvian to pause and reflect on how our history becomes dynamic in the face of this fact, since what we believed for years, that the Mochica culture was clearly a patriarchy, it takes an unexpected turn and incidentally invites us to reflect: the political and socio-economic weight of pre-Columbian women in those times where until their discovery the female role, in the mental collective, was totally secondary.
