If you are in Stavanger then you have to go and see the swords and learn about the historical significance of the monument. On the way to Ullandhaug Tower, you’ll stop at Hafrsfjord, where a historical battle was fought in the age of Vikings between 872 and 900. The trip will take approximately 1 hour. While passing Fjords and mountains, your guide will tell you about the life and history of the people of Haugesund. Upon arrival at Nedstrand, soak in the surroundings of the cozy village, Hindervåg. Then we go on a hike up to Himakånå, 357 meters above sea level. The walk is around 2 km, it is a steep walk, but we take it at a slow pace. The walk takes around one hour each way. Once we reach the summit, it's the perfect time for pictures of the panoramic views. Himakånå is one of Norway's most popular "selfie spots"! Here we'll rest and enjoy our "matpakke"( a light typical Norwegian lunch), taking in the breathtaking mountain and fjord surroundings, before we head back down to Nedstrand.
