Carambei Historical Park (Parque Historico de Carambei) Tours

Carambei Historical Park (Parque Historico de Carambei)
A fascinating tribute to Brazil’s Dutch pioneers, the Carambei Historical Park (Parque Historico de Carambei) is a vast open-air museum where visitors can experience 20th-century life and learn more about the region’s Dutch heritage.

Spread over more than one hundred thousand square-kilometers, the park’s centerpiece is a recreation of Carambei’s first Dutch settlement, where visitors can explore the recreated houses, school and church, learn about agricultural practices at the Tractor Museum and discover the sustainable waterworks. Also of interest is the Memory Museum, full of insights into Dutch culture; the exhibition park where fairs and events are held; and the ‘Kaffiehuis’ café, where you can sample traditional Dutch pastries.
