Canela Automobile Museum (Museu do Automovel de Canela)
On a self-guided tour of the museum, admire more 40 motor vehicles dating from 1920 to 1990, as well as vintage gasoline pumps, automobile artifacts, and more than 300 model cars. Highlights of the collection include car brands including Cadillac, Ferrari, Rolls-Royce, Pontiac, Puma, Corvette, and Chevelle; rare, vintage cars such as a 1924 Ford Model T; and a 1925 Buick modelo Master Six Sport Touring; and a number of Brazilian-made motors.

How to Get There
The museum is located in Canela, around 68 miles (110 kilometers) or a 2-hour drive northeast of Porto Alegre. Buses service Canela from nearby towns such as Gramado. The museum is easy to find, as its just off the main road and within walking distance of many Canela hotels and attractions.

Unique Museums of Canela
The Automobile Museum isn’t the only unique museum in Canela. The town is also home to a Beatles Museum, devoted to the British supergroup; the Mundo a Vapor park, which explores all things steam-powered; and the Fashion Museum, which focuses on women’s fashion throughout the ages. Motor fans might also want to pay a visit to the Harley Motor Show, where you can pose for photos on a selection of Harley bikes and Hollywood Dream Cars.
