Top Pigeon Forge Sporting Events

This tour takes you to the top of the mountains to Newfound Gap where customers can stand in two states (Tennessee and North Carolina) and view the placard for the dedication site for the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. View scenic viewpoints as well as the Sugarlands Visitor Center to take in a bit of park information. As you crest Newfound Gap, your guide will stop at the dedication site for GSMNP. Here, you can take in a short section of the Appalachian Trail and straddle the state line between North Carolina and Tennessee. After that, you will head back down the mountain to Pigeon Forge. Once you get back to town, enjoy a thirty-minute ride on a forested four-wheel drive adventure on private land.

Travel through the town of Gatlinburg and into the western edges of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Once you leave Gatlinburg, you enter a heavily forested area and the road narrows to a single lane through this mountainous area. From here, the trail twists and turns for six miles on a one-way loop. Only cars and trucks can fit on this road, no busses. Along this route, you will come to mountain viewpoints along with historic structures. In the 1830’s and 1840’s this was the American Frontier. You will start down the mountain following a “roaring” mountain stream, for which this road is named, offering views of a waterfall. Once you get back to Pigeon Forge, enjoy a thirty-minute four-wheel drive adventure on private land.

Travel down Wears Valley Road, through the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, through Townsend, and then the newest section of Foothills Parkway. Your first stop is along the Little River Gorge in the GSMNP. You will also stop in Townsend to take in a bit of park information and an opportunity to shop for souvenirs. Next, you will make your way to the Foothills Parkway (also in the GSMNP) where you will stop at one or two scenic overlooks for panoramic photo opportunities and to see some of the highest mountains in the Smokies. During the tour, your guide will share natural interpretive information about Flora, Fauna, Geology, and history of the area. The tour then returns to Pigeon Forge for an exciting and exclusive off-road trail on private land.
