* A traveler said: "We absolutely loved this tour! We had no idea that we would see so many birds and sea life. We were on a cruise and we were picked up where we disembarked from the ship. Everyone loved this excursion. It turned out that it was one of the highlights of our trip. It's definitely a "must do"."

30 minutes before the meeting point tour at the Ocean Beach Paracas Hotel The Ballestas Islands are a group of rocky islands located off the Pacific coast near the city of Paracas, and are famous for their abundant wildlife. They are a must see for all wildlife lovers, as they are home to thousands of birds and mammals, including penguins, sea lions and pelicans. The islands are protected, which means that you cannot swim with the animals or walk on their own, but you will get very close to them by speedboat. Schedules: 8:00 am. 10:00 a.m. Restriction: The operator does not allow babies under 1 year of age to attend the tour. The tour to the Ballestas Islands during the holidays in Peru, such as Easter, National Holidays, New Year's Party, is usually very popular and many people travel so prices tend to change and the duration of the tour is 1 Hour and 10 minutes.

* A traveler said: "This tour was excellent. There were four of us, and we were almost certainly the only English-speaking people in the boat. Everyone else was local. The guide was bilingual and made a special effort to come over to us and explain things. The boats are all pretty much alike. Don't pay big bucks for special "excursions." Two of us purchased our tickets in advance, but two in our group bought tickets on the spot (slightly higher price, but not much.) The entry fee to the national park (paid separately from the tour price) was about $6 USD per person. The tour lasts right around two hours and that's plenty of time. All the boats are out there together. Paying more does not get you a better boat or a better experience or evern more time. There was one boat right next to us that was filled with people from our cruise ship who bought the ship's excursion (at a whopping $165 pp). They boarded at the same time we did and came back to the pier at the same time we did. This was one of the best tours we've ever taken considering the price. Massive numbers of sea birds, dozens of sea lions, just excellent. We were very lucky in that the water was calm, so the ride was smooth and pleasant."

* A traveler said: "This tour is so much more than it's being offered! By that I mean, there is so much experience that you'll forget you only paid for $100 per head. It's a bummer we haven't tried the Ballestas Island due to bad weather but for sure it was worth the value! They had a lot to offer more than the Ballestas: breakfast&dinner and wine tasting in El Catador, Dune Buggy in Huacachina. It was the best trip ender for us!!! JAVIER was our tour guide and he didn't left us hanging. In our group, most can understand Spanish. I was only able to understand a few Spanish words here and there but JAVIER was there to translate for us every single time. We had an amazing time! Especially in Huacachina where we got to experience dune buggy included in our tour! It was an absolute roller coaster ride. We forgot about the time while flying drone in Huacachina desert and JAVIER was waiting for us at the base of the dunes. It was such a great experience I would recommend to everyone! If we could just stay at Huacachina for even one night, we would. But we didn't have time and if that's also you, I would just take a day tour and I definitely recommend this to you!!! 5-stars!!!"
