Would you like to experience the hike in the real Norwegian forest? Let's go to Nordmarka! The trip starts outside Oslo Visitor Centre at Jernbanetorget in Oslo city center. We will then take the Frognerseteren line to Frognerseteren. Our group will hike along with broad and small patches into the Northern Forest in Oslo. In this part of the forest, you can find a fox, beaver, moose, deer, eagle, hare and many other animals! They are all harmless. But still, it is a great opportunity to see a wild Nordic nature. We will have two breaks at a «hytte», the cottage of Skjennungen and Ullevålseter. They serve great coffee and fresh pastry! We will also visit the geographic centre of Oslo, which is in the middle of the forest! We end our hike at Sognsvann, take the subway and finish the trip at Jernbanetorget. This tour takes about 5 h including the subway (4 h walk, 1 h metro). The walking distance is 12 km. Some hiking experience is required. Hiking shoes or similar is required.

The trip starts outside Oslo Visitor Centre at Jernbanetorget. We take the metro line Frognerseteren to Lillevann. This is a great train ride! We hike past idyllic Lillevann and down to Frognerseteren restaurant, which is virtually an institution. The trip follows part of the 50-kilometer trail, down a toboggan run from the first Luge World Championship in 1955, past Midtstubakken and further down to Holmenkollen Chapel. The highlight of the trip is without doubt the majestic Holmenkollen ski jump. We will then stroll down to the metro station and conclude our trip at Jernbanetorget, where we started. The hiking tour in Holmenkollen takes about 3 hours including public transportation. The walking distance is 5 kilometers. General good health necessary. Hiking shoes or similar needed.
