On this Harbour Hopper tour, you'll travel on both land and water aboard a nifty, renovated amphibious Vietnam War vehicle. The unconventional method of transportation gives you an overview of some of Halifax's key landmarks: First, drive by St Paul’s Cathedral, Citadel Hill and Halifax Public Gardens, then splash into Halifax Harbour for panoramic views of the waterfront.

A number of destinations are on the itinerary, but there’s no fixed schedule, so you can see where the day takes you. Why not combine our two most popular tours into one? See the sights of the historic port city of Halifax and then take in the famous breathtaking sights of Peggy's Cove. Our tour would commence from Pier 21 with its Historic block as the "Ellis Island" of Canada, where more than one million immigrants came through and more than 500,000 left from during WWII. From there we will visit St. Paul's Church, the oldest Anglican church in Canada. As well, St. Paul's Church was among some of the buildings that withstood the Great Halifax Explosion of 1917. We will drive on to Fort Needham Hill where a memorial carillon was built for the victims of that explosion. Then we'll be on to Canada's most famous lighthouse. Peggy's Cove is one of the most unique, captivating and exhilarating eye-openers in Nova Scotia. The quaint seaside hamlets of Shad Bay, Big Lake, East Dover and West Dover, to mention but a few, are also breathtaking.

On this tour you'll explore the Mersey River (one of the most beautiful places in the park to paddle, in my opinion). Rendezvous at the Whynot Adventure HQ (Jake's Landing) 15 min before the tour is set to start. We have a large parking lot situated just before you arrive at our location on the river. We recommend bringing a camera as this tour is full of wildlife photography options (I know you're thinking moose and bears, but in Keji we specialize in turtles, giant bullfrogs, muskrat, beavers and white-tailed deer, oh and sometimes a swimming squirrel). On this guided tour you might learn about 'Keji tea' or hear the legend of Jim Charles' Gold, while paddling your canoe or kayak up the river with intermittent stops to take in the magic and learn about some of Keji's secrets. This tour is an 'out n'back' so you'll get to enjoy the gentle current on the way back to Jake's Landing.

Come along with me oh, the places you will see! Sightseeing/storytelling tours leaving downtown Lunenburg daily. Experience magnificent seascapes, treasured places and hidden gems, authentic working fishing villages and stops at local picture-perfect locations along the way. It is the natural beauty and ocean vistas that will be the destination points and the backdrops for our local tours. We visit the places you came here for. The magnificent ocean and seascapes. The treasured places and hidden gems. Authentic working fishing villages and local picture-perfect locations. We’ll even add in some local stories for good measure. We only take 8 at a time so seating is limited but we think it’s more fun that way. Our adventure to beautiful Bluerocks is approximately an hour and a half from start to finish and we’ll get you back to the Lunenburg waterfront before the crow flies. This tour is a must-do if you want to experience first hand what the locals already know.
