Speyside Whisky Experience by Whisky Trails: Three Speyside DistilleriesDay Trips

Speyside Whisky Experience by Whisky Trails: Three Speyside Distilleries

star-5
Whether you are a whisky aficionado or a complete novice, this Whisky Trail has something for everyone. You will be picked up from where you are staying and transported in comfort, safety, and style to Speyside. This is a private tour and only your group will participate. If you book between April and October you will visit the big three Speyside distilleries, namely The Macallan, Glenlivet, and Glenfiddich. The agenda is flexible so depending on whether you have chosen to book a tour at one of the distilleries, we will agree the timing for your day before setting off together. At the end of the Whisky Trail, we will head back to your starting point or another location by prior arrangement. Travel time from central Scotland is 3.5 hours in each direction, whereas Inverness lies around 1.5 hours drive away from the Speyside area. PLEASE NOTE: due to COVID19 restrictions, Distilleries may open and close at short notice, and may also only offer limited tour and tasting options.

Dunnottar Castle and Royal Deeside Small-Group Tour from AberdeenDay Trips

Dunnottar Castle and Royal Deeside Small-Group Tour from Aberdeen

star-5
Combine the majestic heights of Royal Deeside with the epic cliff-top site of Dunnottar Castle. For almost 150 years, the British royal family have travelled to the River Dee for their holidays. With almost unlimited cash and resources, why do they always come here? We think there’s an easy answer. This area encapsulates everything everyone loves about Scotland. You find grand castles enclosed by pine forests. You look up at the highest plateau in Britain in the Cairngorms National Park. And there’s enough nearby distilleries to satisfy any royal event. So, who wouldn’t want to escape to the fresh air of this location? On this tour, we combine her Majesty’s favourite holiday spot with a trip to Dunnottar Castle, one of the most historically important and visually arresting sights in Scotland. Hop aboard this tour, see an epic castle, and discover whether you have the same taste as the royals.

Whisky Tour: Speyside Big Three! Glenfiddich, Glenlivet, The Macallan TrailDay Trips

Whisky Tour: Speyside Big Three! Glenfiddich, Glenlivet, The Macallan Trail

star-5
This private customisable tour will take you to the three biggest, most well known Distilleries on Speyside, namely The Macallan, Glenlivet, and Glenfiddich. Scotland has very strict drink driving laws, so why not hire us to take you on a Whisky Trail? This is a private tour and only your party will participate. Note that due to COVID19 restrictions, distilleries may be opened and closed at short notice. We will endeavour to stick to the itinerary and these three distilleries, but flexibility may be required and substitutions may be necessary. Typically this tour will take you to the spectacular Macallan Distillery in the morning for a tasting. Lunch and a tasting will follow at the Glenfiddich Distillery, and then the afternoon is spent at Glenlivet Distillery for a further tasting. There is usually sufficient time in the schedule to take a pre-booked tour at one of the Distilleries. We will work with you in advance to plan this into the itinerary for the day.
