The Netherlands is internationally known for its flowers. Not a surprise, given that the country controls 60% of the global flower trade. This tour shows you how farmers in Holland grow tulips the traditional way. Start your experience comfortably, as your guide picks you up from any address in the region to visit two tulip farms. Professionals in the flower industry, from all over the world, visit these farms for their quality tulips. As more tulip 'factories' that grow tulips on crates emerge, the farms that grow tulips the traditional way are slowly dying out. And you have the opportunity to have a look behind the scenes of these traditional farms. Discover how tulips are grown and cultivated using traditional methods in order to get tulips of the best quality. A brief movie about the tulip growing process gives you even more insight. Finally, a visit to the sand fields where the tulips are grown makes the tour complete. Then it's time for the transfer to your drop-off address.

I show you some of the "must sees" in Holland in just one day! We will go into the tulipfields/flowerfields (drive there off the beaten paths and see some awesome flowerfields), after the photoshoot we'll head on to see the off the beaten tracks windmills (so no tourist trap stuff/away from the crowds), next stop is the Amsterdam Castle in medieval city Muiden, combined with quaint village Weesp (outskirts of Amsterdam) to finish the story with our final destination "Giethoorn"(the Venice of the North). Here we'll have lunch and make the boat tour. If you want I can rent a private boat for you and be your captain too. The boat tour will take about an hour. After the boat tour you can walk around for pictures and once you're done, we'll head back to Amsterdam.
