Recommended items to enjoy your experience: - sun protection: sunscreen, lip balm, hat, sunglasses - comfortable shoes - healthy snacks As a rule of thumb, please inform someone you know when you are starting the hike and when you expect to return. If needed, trekking poles could be arranged at an extra charge. We will take you in a 40-minute drive to the starting point at Aqbat Al Biyut. This unique hike leads along an 8.6 km long donkey trail with a breathtaking view of the valley landscape. We descend to one of the most beautiful villages in Oman. Masirat Al Jawamid is at the bottom of the valley. Immediately below are beautifully cultivated gardens. Our excursion ends at the upper part of the waterfall, where, in addition to the impressively terraced gardens, you can admire the 650 m higher hotel complex Alila Jabal Akhdar.
