New York Harbor

New York City, New York, 10305

The Basics

Most visitors go to New York Harbor for the views of the city’s beloved Statue of Liberty. Look at her from afar, or get up close on a sightseeing cruise. Many tours to the Statue of Liberty include a stop at Ellis Island, another can’t-miss New York landmark—and Liberty and Ellis islands offer sweeping views of downtown Manhattan.

Alternatively, jet-ski, kayak, or boat in the harbor waters, or embark on a dinner cruise or sunset sail for a glimpse of Manhattan at its brightest. Or, simply take a ride on the Staten Island Ferry or one of the other public boats that transport both locals and tourists around the city.

New York in One Day Guided Sightseeing Tour
Jerry was quite knowledgeable of most of the sites. He was excited about history and sharing that with us. I wish he would have been a little more diligent about his face mask instead of wearing it on his chin all day. It would have been a good example to some of the tour group who were hesitant. I booked the tour because I thought there would be safety protocols in place.

New York in One Day Guided Sightseeing Tour
Rachel, our tour guide, did an excellent job. She gave us a lot of great information about some of the most iconic NYC landmarks and monuments. Also, her attention to safety was on point throughout the whole tour. I definitely recommend this tour to anyone who's interested on having a quick but very fun and detailed tour around NYC.

New York City Statue of Liberty Super Express Cruise
It was the perfect excursion for us. With limited time and COVID issues, we really just wanted the opportunity to get close to Lady Liberty. The trip was wonderful—our guide was Damien (sp?) and he was informative and entertaining. He was challenged by a wonky microphone ( which no guide should have to deal with) but he toughed it out! Bonus views of Ellis Island, bridges, Manhattan skyline—fabulous photo ops. Located near many other iconic attractions. All in only about 45 minutes!!!

The boat was clean, the staff were very nice and the tour guide was excellent. I can’t remember her name but she is from NC. She was teaching us a lot about the city in a very fun way for the kids. Thanks
