The Basics

This picturesque neighborhood is best experienced on foot, and tour choices run the gamut from general or historical to haunted. The former typically feature popular highlights such as the historic Lafayette Cemetery No. 1, famous antebellum houses, and the eclectic shops and restaurants of Magazine Street; meanwhile, the latter includes paranormal tales of the neighborhood where Interview with a Vampire, Dracula 2000, and American Horror Story: Coven were filmed. Some driving tours combine seeing the sights by private vehicle with stops at top attractions.

Garden District: Secrets and Scandals - Small Group Tour ♥
Our tour guide Jackson was awesome! One of the main reasons we picked the tour was that it had an afternoon slot available which was hard for us to find. He was very passionate about the history of the garden district and we were able to walk the blocks through the neighborhoods. He was very good at answering all our questions. We even got to stop halfway at a coffee shop which was nice. It was a great tour and definitely learned a lot!

Walking Tour in New Orleans Garden District
Erin was an excellent tour guide; Both architecturally and Historically knowledgeable. She was engaging with the large group; her Personality and comedic timing combined with her knowledge to make her quite an excellent tour guide. She monitored our group safety warning us about New Orleans sidewalks and group safety as well. I would highly recommend her if you want to enjoy a tour and also get excellent information about New Orleans.

Andrew was wonderful and entertaining. Great history bits and debunked some of the more common myths. Lots of local knowledge and a nice walk at a very reasonable pace (6,000 steps over the 2 hrs.) A very enjoyable experience
