Lyceum Theatre Tours

The Lyceum Theatre has been around since the 18th century, though the present venue was completed in 1904. Bram Stoker was inspired to write Dracula while working at the theater under Sir Henry Irving in 1897. Since then, many other top performers have trodden the boards, including Sir John Gielgud, Prince, and the cast of The Lion King.

Keen-eyed fans of The Crown may recognize the theater from the Netflix series. Visit the 2,100-seat Lyceum along with other filming locations, such as Lancaster House and Southwark Cathedral, or opt for a historical tour to learn more about the theater’s unusual past. For a more traditional West End experience, catch a performance of The Lion King, which has been playing weekly at the Lyceum since 1999.
