"Our very first day in Lima my friend and I signed up for a full day "walking tour" of Lima and we had such a GREAT time - our guide had a separate driver (with just us), spoke English very well and we saw the sights, shops, lunch at a beautiful museum and felt safe and educated by our guide. "I did both parts of the Lima Highlights tour. Starting as a member of a group for the tour of the history of downtown Lima with Sofia. I had a great time and learned a lot. We saw historic squares, churches, govt buildings, catacombs, local highlights too. Sofia was great...super friendly and very knowledgeable! She did a great job of keeping everyone engaged! After that portion of the tour, I switched guides. From that point I had a private tour of the local Miaflores, Barannca, and Chorillos districts with Manuel. Manuel was great...very patient and also very knowledgeable. We started with lunch at a local farmers market....incredibly fresh civiche and some delicious fried fish and seafood. The rest of the day I got to be a local in Lima...going to all of spots frequented by locals (and some tourists). In Miaflores, we saw Huaca Pucllana (where else can you find an ancient temple in the middle of a city), went to Love Park and saw some parasailing. We drove over to Barranco and Chorillos and hit the beach, the fish market and pier, went to the top of the peninsula for the amazing view, then to back to downtown Barranco...which is an amazing town...views of the ocean, great restaurants, beautiful town squre. During my 2 tours, I enjoyed a personal tour of a great area by people who took their time and never rushed. It was exactly what I had hoped for."

"I have always liked bikes. Arrived to Lima first thought, why not explore the city with bicycles. Let's go there. I was very surprised in a good way that Tito arrived by bike to the hotel. We didn't have to go anywhere, look for a meeting point. About the guide himself, he was a professional, explaining the subtleties of traffic cycling in Peru. The pace of the tour was very good, we had the opportunity to stop to ask about history and take photos. The quality of the bikes was good, with no difficulty in climbing the Huaca Pucllana Mountain. There is a very beautiful view. I would recommend this tour for others."

"We didn't like any of the cruise ship offerings, so we took this one. They met us with a sign just outside the cruise terminal, and gave us a wonderful set of things to see, capped by a lunch in a nice restaurant on the side of the square. Be sure to order a Pisco Sour as your beverage."

"This is a great trip for individual adults or families with teens (not pre teens). Our guide Paula was excellent. You would think Lima is not a great cycling city but recent efforts have made this ride very friendly with designated bike paths hugging bluffs along the coast are very safe. The Baranco neighborhood is filled with graffiti/street art that I just loved. The coast is gorgeous, and we stopped for ice cream. I recommend the Sunday ride if possible but not required as the city closes a major road between the city center and Miraflores for only bike riders."

"Ursula is very knowledgeable about Peru’s history. I got to sample all Peru’s dishes, appetizers, desserts with Pisco during lunch in one of their best restaurants. To top it a drink in a bar with a big Peruvian sandwich and Pisco again late afternoon before going to the magic water circuit. Highly recommended tour!!!"
