Car transfer from Rovaniemi takes about 1,5 hour. Moderate hiking. Korouoma is 30 kilometer long and up to 130 meters deep canyon fracture valley. Canyon and its high cliffs form a breathtakingly landscape to enjoy throughout the year. The area’s landscape is exceptionally rugged and grand. Several 30 meter steep streams freeze during the winter forming huge ice formations, offering fantastic views and play of colours. Moderate hiking. Right after hiking we will go to Ranua Zoo. Transfer time is approximately 1 hour. This about 2,5 km walk in the magical forest will allow you to meet many animals and birds that can be found in the arctic areas. The zoo is outdoors, so prepare yourself with adequate clothing. The excursion suits for the whole family. After the visit You´ll have buffet lunch and some free time for shopping in the small boutiques. Fazer chocolate and local wine shops. Transfer back to Rovaniemi 1 hour.

YASSS TO ANIMALS!!! See over 50 species of arctic animals including the rare polar bears along the wonderful 2,5km walking trail at Ranua zoo. Among the 200 animals there, see top predators such as the lynx, brown bears, wolves, arctic fox, wolverines, river otters, snow owls, and much more! Check out big herbivores like the musk ox and European moose among others. Spend time finding the hiding and camouflaged little cuties such as the minks and stoats. A great experience for the entire family! This activity is animal friendly and the easiest we have, we will pick you up from your destination and we will go to our place out of Levi to feed our own little reindeer. We will feed them and spend a while learning about herdering lifestyle and Sami's culture. Then we will have a nice and warm lappish soup with bakeries and hot drinks. Please ask before the booking for special petitions availability. If you are more than 8 people in total you must ask availability.
