We want to invite you to live a beautiful experience riding through the beautiful slopes of our farm where you can enjoy the beautiful natural landscape with the imposing view of the Arenal Volcano, during our tour you can experience and learn about Costa Rican equine culture, rural tourism and history since we are the pioneers of this activity more than 25 years ago when our founder Don Gerardo Chaves and another group of peasants decided to undertake the journey through the mountains until they reached the same place where he will be riding with us to relive this beautiful experience when visiting and discovering for the first time La Fortuna Waterfall where you can enjoy swimming in the natural pools of the waterfall. We are the only official operator of the Horseback Riding to La Fortuna Waterfall legally constituted, we have all the necessary permits, insurance as well as the rules established by the ICT (National Tourism Institute).

Enjoy a complimentary hotel pickup and transfer from your centrally located Arenal accommodations to the starting point. Before taking the ride you will take part in a short safety briefing, given by your bilingual guide. Then, you’ll be ready for your 2-3 hours scenic horseback ride, surrounded by the Arenal rainforest, your guide will talk about the flora and the fauna of the area and teach you some history about the lava . You'll began at the base of the mountain and end, in the ancient lava of ARENAL volcano with the with the colossus in front of you. At the end of the tour you will return to your hotel in our transport vehicles

A great way to visit the well-known “La Fortuna Waterfall” is by riding a horse through the forest and farms.Beautiful example of the Costa Rican country site will be found along the way, cattle farms and agriculture, also the chance to see some birds as oropendolas and tucans. When you’re ready to walk to the waterfall, the guide will lead you to a descending trail with about 600 steps of stairs as the canyon is quite steep. However a slow pace and a couple stops to catch some breath will take to the very base in nearly 20min. Ideal for relaxing in family !
