The Basics

A sightseeing tour of Krakow isn’t complete without a visit to the former Jewish district, and the best way to explore Kazimierz is on foot. Learn more about Krakow’s Jewish history and visit filming locations from Steven Spielberg’s Oscar-winning Schindler's List on a guided walking tour, join a food tasting tour and sample the quarter’s famous street food, or explore by Segway, bike, or in a classic Trabant car.

For a more personalized experience, opt for a small-group or private tour, visit independently as part of a hop-on hop-off bus tour, or choose a tour that includes other attractions, such as Wawel Hill, Wieliczka Salt Mine, or Oskar Schindler’s Factory.

The knowledge and enthusiasm of our guide Valentino. He went above and beyond. The trip to the Ghetto was moving. Valentino showed great respect. He made sure that we were able to stop at numerous points along the way, explaining the historical significance. His local knowledge was invsluable

2 Hour Private Krakow Jewish Quarter and Former Ghetto Tour
If you are visiting Krakow, don’t miss this tour. We had the best guide ever, Seweryn, who is an expert in history and we learnt a lot from him. He is also very friendly and eager to help. His tour is excellent, full of interesting history and stories, and visiting “hidden” treasuries, you wouldn’t have reached otherwise. Definitively, far the best tour from our days in Krakow and our top one recommendation.

2 Hour Private Krakow Jewish Quarter and Former Ghetto Tour
Seweryn Osowski is an outstanding guide to this important area of Krakow. Good restaurant tips were pointed out as well as the history of the Jewish quarter. No details were lost as his Phd is on a closely related topic.
